| Description | This gland is made according to DIN 477/1. It is the German connection for hydrogen, natural gas and forming gas, among other things. A 21.8 thread is a BSP thread with a pitch of 14 threads per inch. This 21 mm long cable gland is according to the German standard. In the Netherlands a 40 mm long nut (916140) is used. This 21 mm long cable gland is often used in the Netherlands on battery beams or as a connection to a pipe reducing valve. |

| Remark | Cylinders in the Netherlands are usually provided with a cap. A 21 mm long swivel does not protrude beyond the hood, making it very inconvenient to tighten the swivel. For Dutch cylinders use a 40 mm long nut. |
