| Description | This gland is made according to DIN 477/10. This union is used in Germany as a connection to a nitrogen cylinder. A 24.32 thread is a BSP thread with a pitch of 14 threads per inch. This 21 mm long cable gland is according to the German standard. In the Netherlands a 40 mm long nut (916138) is used. This 21 mm long union is occasionally used in the Netherlands as a connection for a pipe reducing valve. |

| Remark | Cylinders in the Netherlands are usually provided with a cap. A 21 mm long swivel does not protrude beyond the hood, making it very inconvenient to tighten the swivel. For Dutch cylinders use a 40 mm long nut. |
