| Description | This Ibeda flame arrester is suitable for mounting on a pressure reducing valve. The use of an Ibeda flame arrester is not mandatory for an oxygen reduction valve. In some (especially large companies) the use of the Ibeda flame arrester on oxygen reduction valves is included in the company regulations. This Ibeda flame arrester had a flame-extinguishing element (sintered bronze). A non-return valve and a fuse cartridge are not built into this Ibeda flame arrester. Primary connection is a 1/4" r union with ball cone. The secondary connection is an insertion grommet for 6 mm hose, according to European Standard 560, which makes it very easy to disconnect a hose from the Ibeda flame arrester. The maximum allowable pressure for oxygen is 20 bar. Capacity at a pre-pressure of: 0.3 0.6 0.9 1.5 2.5 5.0 bar is 2.4 4.2 6.2 10.5 16.2 31.3 Nm3/hour Other sometimes common connections of oxygen reducing valves are 9/16"r UNF for American reducing valves and 3/8"r for a single Western European valve.
