| Description | This Ibeda flame arrester is suitable for mounting on a pressure reducing valve. The use of an Ibeda flame arrester is mandatory for an acetylene pressure reducing valve. It is not mandatory to use an Ibeda flame arrester for a propane pressure reducing valve. In some (especially large companies), the company includes the use of an Ibeda flame arrester on propane reduction valves in the company regulations. This Ibeda flame arrester contains a flame-extinguishing element (sintered bronze), a check valve and a fuse cartridge. Primary connection is a 3/8"L gland with ball cone. The secondary connection is 3/8"L external with a concave cone. The maximum allowable pressure for acetylene is 1.5 bar and for propane is 3.5 bar Capacity at a pre-pressure: from 0.3 0.6 0.9 1.5 2.5 5.0 bar is 2.4 4.2 6.2 10.5 16.2 31.3 Nm3/hour Another common connection of acetylene pressure reducing valves is 9/16"L UNF for American reducing valves.
