HSS Cobalt 5% machine taps for through holes are made of high-quality high-speed steel. By adding cobalt, a very high hardness is achieved to handle steel types that are difficult to machine. Complete grinding during the production process creates a very sharp tap with high precision. Use the taps in combination with cutting oil for a very long lifespan. Very suitable for tapping continuous internal threads in alloyed steels and difficult-to-machine steels such as stainless steel.
